Leaky Gut Syndrome Rheumatoid Arthritis
There are certain kinds of foods that are frequently blamed for food allergies and sensitive reactions. These foods contribute majorly to inflammatory and auto immune conditions through the process of gut inflammation which results in a leaky gut. A new study has revealed that few food substances can also cause rheumatic arthritis in individuals.
A research conducted in the year 2006 in Norway reveals that there is a link between the food and the rheumatic arthritis. The research was conducted by using the blood and the intestinal fluid of people suffering from leaky gut syndrome with rheumatic arthritis and the individual who suffer from rheumatic arthritis but does not complain to have a leaky gut.
The researchers conducted study on the blood and intestinal fluid antibody tests with the food products like gliadin, oats, cow’s milk proteins (casein, lactalbumin, lactoglobulin), soy, pork, cod fish, and egg. These are the food that are commonly said to create food allergies as well as food protein intolerances. The research resulted that measuring blood antibodies to foods in rheumatoid arthritis gave away only little information about the role of foods in rheumatoid arthritis.
The intestinal antibodies showed up striking patterns of elevation with adverse food immune reactions. This also appeared to be potential cumulative effect of multiple foods. This does not conclude that only some foods trigger abnormal immune response which results in joint inflammation but a combination of them might also be a cause for arthritis. By eliminating few food items one can stay away from being attacked by rheumatic arthritis.
