I do buy “organic” food
and
on food labelled “organic” it means that no “artificial’ fertilizers, or preservatives, or harmful pesticides are used

No I never shop “organic food” because the cost far outweigh the benefits.
Meaning of “organic”. It’s practically meaningless because there is no legal definition. Even if it was possible to define there would be producers who would find ways around the definition while still being legal.
I think anyone who thinks they know “organic” has not sufficiently educated themselves about food science.

I shop organic only on certain foods such as lettuce and bananas.
It means they did not use any pesticide.
