Do they make allowances in Border Patrol if you have food allergies?

Question by Ava: Do they make allowances in Border Patrol if you have food allergies?
I am interested in joining Border Patrol, but i have food allergies. I don’t go into anaphylactic shock, it mostly just gives me a stomach ache and an itchy throat. Even then I’m usually only affected when i eat too much of it, i can handle small amounts. (It’s basically like most peoples seasonal allergies) Even this is controlled with a basic allergy medicine when needed. Would they still consider me for hiring?

I’m pretty sure that the Border Patrol, nor any other job, will require you to eat foods you’re allergic to. So, yea, you’ll probably be ok.

I know a friend who is in the border patrol and he has been allergic to nearly everything. Don’t worry you will be fine.

I am sure you will make a great border patrol officer!
