Anyone who served in the Middle East during the first Gulf War can go to the VA and receive a Gulf War Exam. I’ve never had one, so I don’t know the details. But, I do know they look for specific items such as Fibromyalgia, Multi-Symptom Undiagnosed illness, or Gastric illnesses. This is strictly for medical files.

If a person believes they have a Gul War Syndrome of any sort then they have until December 2011 to file a claim with the VA.
