Question by SINDY: I have chemical sensitivities to hair dye. Is there any other way that I can change my hair color?
I use to dye my hair black until I started having horrible reactions (excruciating pain, oozing, swelling, rashes, etc…). I haven’t been able to dye my hair for about six years, and I really miss it.
What can I do? Are there other options?

Is the reaction the same to temp. dyes? If not try those wash out after a few washes type of dyes. Or maybe some of the manic panic dyes would work, they are also semi-permanent. If you want some funky colors you could always use kool-aid, used to do that back in high school.
What do you think? Answer below!

Maybe it was just a reaction to the brand of dye. Every company puts out a bad batch of their product every once a while. Thats why they tell the users to test it on their skin and wait 48 hours before using the rest of it. Thats probably what happened. If not, try using a hair henna. Its a natural dye. It takes a couple of hours for the dye to sit in your hair before it gets to the desired color, but I herd that it works.

you might not believe this but it is true—–TEA!
yes tea -bring one cup of water to boiling add tea bag let it set all night every time you wash you hair dry add the tea let set over night the wash it dry style–do this for one week it will make your hair darker and the tea is good for your hair if you have very dry hair it will make it soft and shinny—it takes longer then dye but it is more safe for you– give it a try–what color is your hair if your a true blond it wont get darker this is for dark hair only –black or browns
