I can’t recommend this as an evidence-based text book for physicians and other healthcare professionals. It is better suited as a broad introduction to various theories and techniques of CAM but not as an evidence-based reference for patient treatment. If you just want theory and practice without adequate scientific rigor, you can get that for free on the internet or spend money on a non-textbook-priced book about CAM.
