I have tried the Yesterday's News. They were mostly OK with it until the second time they peed. Then the pellets degrade into wet newspaper and they shook their paws at it. I tried both Feline Pine and Mountain Cat pine litters. That was an absolutely not, no way, no how, uh-uh moment for them. It smells A LOT (like pine). One of them pooped in front of the box on the mat and waited beside it for me to notice just to prove a point. I got the hint. I have not tried the Swheat or World's Best. I have heard good things about them but with four cats the cost is a preventative. When I worked at a pet store there were people who swore by them, though.
