Question by Rusty: Any allergy remedies for cats?
I have 5 cats, and 2 of them have allergies. They have to go to vet every once in a while and get cortizon shots. Those shots are taking its toll on their kidneys. Does any body know of any natural remedies to help my cats? Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpfull. Thank you.

Steroid shots can also leas to diabete in cats.
Are you sure it is outside allergies? the most logical place to get allergies for cats is from their food. I would also bet that you are feeding dry food. Canned food w/o gravy is what is best and i would also look for a higher quality canned food thast doesn’t have gluten. Many fancy feasts don’t have gluten, (some do) but in your case i would go to something like wellness.
Oh and by the way, dry food is the number 1 cause of diabetes and kidney disease imo

I might want to see another vet, specifically an allergist. Cortizone only treats symptoms and does not get to the root of the problem/
